What Makes YOU Feel Powerful?

I feel powerful when I fight inertia and don't allow myself to feel defeated. Everyone of us knows this feeling: You have been working hard all day long, and then when you finally get a chance to take a breather, you get hit with a momentary feeling of weariness. "Leg day" seems hard, cooking healthy food seems like too much work, and pretty much anything else can wait for one more day. When I can resist the urge to throw in the towel and stay on track, when I win the tug of war in my mind and feel the mojo on the inside... it’s a very empowering feeling! I feel powerful when I don’t let my mind be a force of hindrance and push myself to be productive.

Your go-to healthy snack?

RX Bar. (I don't usually like bars except for the RX bars, it's hella good!) 

Your go-to mood enhancing thing or activity.

Checking out new restaurants or coffee shops. 

Favorite day of the week?

Currently, it's when the new Sherlock Holmes episode releases!

Favorite way to break a sweat?

Pure Barre class and Yoga Sculpt at Core Power.

What's your morning routine?

Stretching. Lots of water. Listening to podcasts while getting breakfast. 

What cheers you up?

Lots of small things! When the Starbucks barista can spell my name right on the first try, or when there's an empty seat next to me on a flight.
