What Makes YOU Feel Powerful?

My journey of unwavering Self Awareness makes me feel powerful. In the past, I put too much weight in others' perception of me for fear of becoming too proud or blind to see my areas for improvement. After all, they saw things I couldn't see through my own bias right? WRONG. My journey to self awareness has been one of exploring my being on my own terms. It is difficult at times due to the constant back and forth debates and self reflection that take place in my head, but I'd rather judge myself than be judged by others who have absolutely no authority on the subject of "me." There is power in being able to say, with certainty, "I am...", "I am not...", "I stand for...." or "I will not stand for...". I've learned that I can take the opinions of everyone else with a grain of salt while confidently stating that I know who I am.
